College Award Selection Process

Your application will be reviewed by the College & Apprenticeship Awards Committee.

RAYS considers financial need to be a key requirement for awards to students attending college.  We assess financial need based on the support offered by OSAP and our understanding of the costs of a student’s post-secondary education and the student’s circumstances.

Your will be contacted to arrange an interview with two committee members.

If your application for a college award is approved by the committee, your name and profile will be submitted to the RAYS Board of Directors for approval.

If you are approved by the Board of Directors, arrangements will be made to deliver a cheque to you and obtain your signature on a Letter of Agreement.

A mentor will be assigned to you.
