Shane Bowman
Shane Bowman graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2025. While at SCI, Shane worked with Steer Enterprises during his co-op programs. Shane has now joined Steer Enterprises as an apprentice (Truck and Coach Technician). Congratulations Shane!
Graham Monahan
Graham Monahan graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2024. While at SCI, Graham participated in the Dual Credit Plumbing course at Georgian College, Midland campus. Graham has joined James Cober Plumbing as a plumber apprentice. Congratulations Graham!
Viktoria Williams
During her grade 12 year, Viktoria Williams successfully completed a coop placement with the Collingwood Fire Department. After graduating from SCI in June of 2025, she participated in the Fire Fighting Camp for Girls at Wasaga Beach. RAYS wishes her well as she begins her one-year Pre-Service Fire Fighting program at St. Lawrence College.
Keaghan Dea
Keaghan Dea graduated from Collingwood Collegiate Institute (CCI) in June 2025. While at CCI, Keaghan completed her co-op placement at MacLean Engineering in the welding division. She also participated in the welding competition of Skills Ontario. Keaghan has been accepted into Cambrian College (Sudbury) in their two-year Welding and Fabrication Technician program. Congratulations Keaghan!
Jackson Mitchell
Jackson Mitchell travelled to New Zealand to work after graduating from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June of 2024. He is now ready to begin his post-secondary studies at Algonquin College in their two year Electro Mechanical Engineering program. RAYS wishes him well!

Samantha Grohal graduated from Centre Dufferin District High School (CDDHS) in June 2025. While at CDDHS, Sam participated in a Dual Credit program at Conestoga College learning the basics of pastry making. Avaryannah Lane
After graduating from Stayner Collegiate, Avaryannah Lane, a Creemore resident, will begin her Pre-Health program at Georgian College in September 2024. Her reference stated she is “an exuberant lover of life!” RAYS wishes Avaryannah every success as she begins her educational path in the field of radiology.
Charlie Isaac
Charlie graduated from Grey Highlands District High School in June of 2024. He completed his grade 12 cooperative education credits at Howie’s Welding in Avening and is enrolled in the Mechanical Technician Program as a General Machinist at Conestoga College. He enjoys playing hockey, WWII history and volunteering in his community. His plans include living in the Clearview Township Area, repairing agricultural equipment and creating customized objects made of metal. The RAYS Bursary Committee wishes Charlie all the best on his apprenticeship journey.
Eric Morby
Eric graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2024. While at SCI, Eric joined JMH Custom Homes as a co-op student and was offered an apprenticeship at the end of his work term. Eric enjoys baseball, golf and basketball. Congratulations Eric in securing a position with JMH Custom Homes!
Ethan Sallows
Ethan graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2024. Ethan has been accepted into Fleming College in Peterborough in the paralegal program. Ethan enjoys drawing and music. Congratulations Ethan on your acceptance into the Fleming College paralegal program!
Jakob Hayward

Mairin Duffy
Mairin Duffy graduated from Collingwood Collegiate Institute in June 2024. She will be attending Sault College for Aviation Technology and plans to attend Algoma University after her diploma for Aviation Business Management. Mairin enjoys singing and playing the guitar and is often found at open mic events. The RAYS Bursary Committee wishes Mairin all the best as she starts her post secondary journey in Sault Ste. Marie.
Nicholas Legge
Nicholas lives in Mulmur Township and recently graduated from Centre Dufferin District High School in June 2024. He has been accepted into the three year Aviation Technology program at Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie. Nicholas enjoys restoring old trucks with his dad, learning about history and aircraft and spending time with his family. The RAYS Bursary Committee wishes Nicholas all the best as he pursues his dream to become an airline pilot.
Olivia Newell
Olivia Newell graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute on the honour roll while completing over 400 hours of community service! Her reference listed her traits to include responsibility, compassion and gentleness. These traits will provide an excellent foundation as she begins her nursing degree at Lambton College. Taylor Boyer
Taylor Boyer graduated from Stayner Collegiate (SCI) in June of 2024. She is enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Technology program at Cambrian College in Sudbury. Upon completion of this three-year program she will receive an Ontario College Advanced Diploma. Taylor enjoys playing softball, reading and volunteering for community projects. The RAYS Bursary Committee wishes all the best in reaching her goal of becoming a vital member of a healthcare team.
Makenna Halliday
Makenna Halliday graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2019. Makenna attended Canador College in North Bay, where she received a diploma as a Social Service Developmental Worker. She worked at Pine River as a Child and Youth Counsellor. In 2024, Makenna was accepted into the Bachelor of Mental Health and Addiction program at Seneca Polytechnic. Congratulations Makenna!

Connor Walker
Connor Walker graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June 2023. He is attending the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus for an Associate Diploma in Agriculture this September. Connor works with his family on their dairy farm south of Stayner and was employed by Ken Ferguson Enterprises this summer. We wish Connor all the best as he begins his post secondary journey.
Natalie Carlson
Natalie Carlson graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June of 2023. Her part-time employment at Rural Roots, working outdoors in the gardens as well as milking goats, has helped prepare Natalie for her academic path in Environmental Management. RAYS wishes her the very best as she begins her studies at Ridgetown College.
Taylor Borges
Taylor Borges lives in Creemore. After working for a few years as a physiotherapist assistant at Creedan Valley Nursing Home, she enrolled in the nursing proram at Georgian College. She will be commuting to the Barrie Campus for the next four years working towards a BScN. RAYS congratulates Taylor and wishes her success working towards her goal of becoming a nurse.
Jorden Morris
Jorden Morris graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June of 2023. He has always enjoyed repairing motors and valued his time as a co-op student with Clearview Auto Sales. He currently is employed as an apprentice with RSI Truck and Trailer Repair in Utopia. RAYS congratulates Jorden on his Bursary Award and wishes him every success in his chosen career as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.
Julia Brooks
Julia Brooks graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June of 2023. She is currently attending the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus. She is taking a two year program to graduate with an Associate Diploma in Agriculture. Her future goal is to partner with her brother to manage their family farm in Singhampton.
Simon Leboeuf
Simon graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI) in June 2023.. While at SCI Simon joined Journey Electric as a Co-op student and was offered an apprenticeship at the end of his work term. Simon enjoys dirt biking, working on cars and playing hockey. Congratulations Simon in securing a position with Journey Electric!
Kyle Moxham
Kyle Moxham graduated from Stayner Collegiate Institute in June 2023. While at SCI Kyle participated in the Co-op program to explore the construction sector. Kyle gained experience in the plumbing industry and sought out a local employer, Baymount Plumbing, for a formal apprenticeship. Kyle was signed as an apprentice with Baymount Plumbing in the fall of 2023.
