Each August, RAYS hosts a summer social to celebrate and present awards to that year’s RAYS Award recipients.

This year’s event was held at Village on the Green, where we welcomed more than 60 students, family members, donors, and volunteers. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and celebrate the students as they prepare to begin their post-secondary journeys at university, college, and apprenticeship programs.

This year, RAYS provided awards to 16 students embarking on their post-secondary education and training. We were delighted to celebrate their achievements and aspirations alongside their families and the generous donors and dedicated volunteers who make the RAYS program possible.

It was a warm and inspiring gathering that reflected the strong sense of community at the heart of RAYS.
